Jeremy Kranz

Jeremy is the Head & SVP of GIC’s Technology Investment Group, a specialized team that executes investments across the global technology market. He is responsible for venture capital and growth stage investments in funds and over 40 leading technology companies such as Alibaba, Airbnb, Snapchat, Genesys, Planview, Plex, DJI, Klarna, Element AI, Sofi, Momo, JD.com & Flipkart. Jeremy joined GIC in 2004 and is based in San Francisco. His current focus areas are next generation e-commerce, transportation and deliver networks, AI as a Service, solar, next generation investment management and drones.

Prior to working at GIC, Mr. Kranz served as Strategic Investment Manager at Intel Capital and also served as a Strategic Planner for Intel’s semiconductor factories. Prior to Intel, Jeremy worked as a Process Innovation Analyst at Harley Davidson. Jeremy currently serves on the boards of several technology companies, universities and non-profits – including SG Innovate (Singapore’s premiere start-up incubator).

Mr. Kranz holds an MBA (Raymond Wagner Scholar) from Kellogg at Northwestern University and a bachelors (with honors) in Industrial Engineering / Decision Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he currently serves on the Industry Board, focusing his attention on enhancing the engineering and data science programs.
