Matthew Lim

Matthew Lim is a Managing Director at GIC Private Limited, focused on private market investments.

He set up and co-heads the Sustainability Solutions Group (SSG) in GIC Private Equity. SSG invests in private climate technology and decarbonization solutions companies, encompassing the energy transition, decarbonization of hard-to-abate industry, carbon markets and the circular economy.

Matthew has spent his entire career in the energy and infrastructure sectors, covering private equity and infrastructure investments and companies. He sits on a number of Boards of investee companies in which GIC has invested.

Matthew holds a Master of Engineering (Engineering & Materials Science) from the University of Oxford, and is based in Singapore.
